Fashion Week Berlin – Day 2 – Stylight Influencer Awards

DE: Am zweiten Tag der Berliner Fashion Week war mein Zeitplan enger als am Tag zuvor, sodass ich euch meinen Look, welchen ich unter Anderem zu den Shows von Barre Noire und Rebekka Ruétz getragen habe, leider nur hier bei Facebook zeigen kann. Dafür hat die liebe Dominique von Goldschnee bei den Stylight Fashion Influencer Awards einige Bilder von meinem Outfit am Abend gemacht. Auf die Preisverleihung habe ich mich in dieser Woche am meisten gefreut.

Alles eine Frage der Organisation…

und leider muss ich sagen, dass Stylight da noch etwas Hilfe hätte gebrauchen könnte. Die Location war ziemlich cool. Ein ehemaliges Schwimmbad in Wedding, welches zu einem Club umfunktioniert wurde, doch leider zu klein für die Anzahl der akkreditierten Gäste. Nachdem wir unsere Bändchen erhalten haben, mussten wir einige Zeit warten bis es losging. Eine Getränkebar und ein paar Sitzmöglichkeiten hätten gereicht, um die Stimmung aufrecht zu erhalten. Um nicht nur in der Gegend rumzustehen, habe ich mir das Ankunfts-Spektakel am violetten Teppich (Stylight Farbe ;)) mal näher angeschaut: Sylvie Meis, Bar Refaeli, Moderatorin Louise Roe und Youtube-Star Hedi Slimani liefen an mir vorbei, doch mein Interesse galt hauptsächlich den Bloggern, die extra angereist sind. Ich habe mir auch gleich

Nachdem wir unsere Bändchen erhalten haben, mussten wir einige Zeit warten bis es losging. Eine Getränkebar und ein paar Sitzmöglichkeiten hätten gereicht, um die Stimmung aufrecht zu erhalten. Um nicht nur in der Gegend rumzustehen, habe ich mir das Ankunfts-Spektakel am violetten Teppich (Stylight Farbe ;)) mal näher angeschaut: Sylvie Meis, Bar Refaeli, Moderatorin Louise Roe und Youtube-Star Hedi Slimani liefen an mir vorbei, doch mein Interesse galt hauptsächlich den Bloggern, die extra angereist sind. Ich habe mir auch gleich Riccardo Pozzoli (Mitbegründer von the Blonde Salad) und Gala Gonzales von Amlul für ein gemeinsames Foto geschnappt. Letztere war besonders gut drauf und verbreitete positive Energie, in dem sie fröhlich posierte und mit dem Kameras flirtete. Eigentlich sollte ich mich nicht beschweren, denn ich hatte wohl ziemlich Glück, dass ich sofort rein gelassen wurde. Viele der Gäste mussten bei dem ungemütlichen Wetter bis zu 2 Stunden vor dem Eingang warten und bekamen erst zur After-Party Zutritt.

Ein weiterer Punkt, der weniger Erfreulich war: Die Sitzplätze für die Presse befanden sich auf einer höheren Balkon-Etage. Klingt erstmal cool, aber leider sah man von dort oben weder so richtig was auf der weit entfernten Bühne vor sich ging, noch konnte man auf dem Bildschirm etwas sehen, weil das Scheinwerfergerüst die Sicht versperrte. Zumindest hatte ich während der 1,5 Stunden Wartezeit auf meinem Platz noch etwas Zeit, um die passende Kameraeinstellung zu finden und mir zu überlegen, wie ich Bilder durch das Gitter machen werde..

Lasst die Show beginnen…

Patrice Bouédibéla und Louise Roe waren die Moderatoren des Abends. In der Jury saßen Sylvie Meis, Bar Refaeli (die leider fast kaum zu Wort kam) sowie Premium-Chefin Anita Tillmann und Stylight CEO und Co-Founder Benjamin Guenther. Blogger Bryanboy war ebenfalls Jurymitglied und verlieh dem ganzen Event etwas Witz und Charme.

Fashion Week Feeling kam auf, als das Label Tigha seine Kollektion präsentierte, während Klingande an den Turntables coole Sounds auflegte. Die Vergabe der Awards lief insgesamt ziemlich flott ab und irgendwie hatte man bei den meisten Gewinnern, auch eher das Gefühl, dass sie das ganze fix hinter sich bringen wollten. Besonders die Gewinnerin der deutschen Kategorie Maja Wyh, war so schnell wieder weg von der Bühne, dass ich nicht mal registiert habe, als sie auf die Bühne kam. Nur Kristina Bazan, die Gewinnerin des Sonderpreises „Fashion Influencer of the Year“, zeigte sich sehr dankbar und fand einige schöne Worte, mit welchen sie andere motiviert an ihre Träume zu glauben und dafür zu arbeiten. Selbst nach der Show sprach sie geduldig mit jedem Fan, machte Fotos und nahm sich Zeit auch mal ein paar Sätze mit jedem zu wechseln. Auch ich habe die Gelegenheit genutzt und kurz mit der sympathischen Schweizerin gesprochen.

Das war nur der Anfang…

Insgesamt fand ich die Stylight Fashion Influencer Awards super, auch wenn die Warterei anfangs etwas auf die Stimmung schlug. Doch die Jury war prominent besetzt, die Location sehr originell, die After-Party gelungen und auch die internationalen Promis und Bloggergäste sind zahlreich erschienen.Wer da noch in Motz-Stimmung war, verwarf den Gedanken spätestens beim Anblick der prall gefüllten Goodiebag (Pink Box, L´Oreal Haircare-Produkte, Invisibobbles, Mymüsli, Valmano Schmuck, Essie, Kameragürtel und, und, und…) Auch die Tatsache, dass deutsche Blogger nun eine eigene Kategorie erhielten, war eine deutliche Verbesserung zum letzten Jahr (damals gab es ordentlich Kritik). Stylight hat die Zeichen der Zeit erkannt und weiß wie groß der Einfluss von Bloggern ist und welche Rolle sie mittlerweile in der Modebranche spielen. Es freut mich, dass dies in Deutschland langsam auch gewürdigt wird und finde, dass so ein Award genau der richtige Weg ist, um dies zu zeigen.

Ich bin schon gespannt auf das nächste Jahr und die weitere Entwicklung des Events.

EN: On the second day of the Berlin Fashion Week my schedule was tighter than the day before, so I can only show you the look, which I wore to Barre Noire and Rebekka Ruetz show, here on Facebook. I was lucky to have lovely Dominique from Goldschnee at my side for the Stylight Fashion Influencer Awards, to take some photos of my outfit. This evening was the one, I have been looking forward to the most this week. The location was pretty cool. A former swimming pool, which was converted into a club.

It’s all a question of organization…

Unfortunately, I have to say that Stylight would need some help there. After getting our entry-bands, we had some time to wait off. A welcome drink or a drink at all would have been a good welcome. Also, I was missing any opportunities to sit. Just to avoid standing around, I sneaked near the purple carpet (Stylight color!) to see who was arriving: Sylvie Meis, Bar Refaeli, presenter Louise Roe and Youtube star Hedi Slimani passed me, but my interest was mainly the international bloggers. I’ve caught also Riccardo Pozzoli (co-founder of the Blonde Salad) and Gala Gonzales of Amlul for a photo. The latter was in a particularly good mood and spread positive energy while she posed happily and flirted with the cameras. Actually, I should not complain because apparently I was pretty lucky that I was allowed to enter without waiting in line. Many of the guests had to deal with the uncomfortable weather while waiting up to 2 hours before they were given access to the building (That’s when the after-party actually started.) Another point that wasn´t so pleasing: The seats for the press were on a higher floor balcony. What sounds cool at first, turned out to be but really bad, because from that position you couldn’t see what is happening on the distant stage, yet see something on the screen, because the spotlights were placed exactly at our eye level. At least I had over 1,5 hours of waiting time, so I could adjust my right camera settings correctly…

Let the show begin…

Sylvie Meis, Bar Refaeli, which unfortunately almost hardly had a chance to speak a word as well as premium boss, Anita Tillmann and Stylight CEO and Cofounder Benjamin Guenther were the jury of the night. Blogger Bryanboy was also a member of the jury and gave the whole event some wit and charm. Some Fashion Week feeling arose when the label Tigha presented his collection while Klingande played cool sounds on the turntables. The awards passed pretty quickly and somehow I had the feeling with most winners, that they didn’t really felt well on stage, since most of them barely said a few more words than „Thank you“. Especially Maja Wyh was so quickly off the stage that I have not even registered that she has come up there at all. Only Kristina Bazan, the winner of the Special Award „Fashion Influencer of the Year“, showed herself very grateful and found some beautiful words with which she tried to motivate others to work for and believe in their dreams. Even after the show, she spoke patiently with every fan, took photos with everyone and took some time to talk to everybody. I also took the opportunity and spoke briefly with the sympathetic raising Star from Switzerland.

This was just the beginning…

In general the Stylight Fashion Influencer Awards were great, even if the waiting time at the beginning caused a bad mood. But they had a famous jury, the location was very original and many international celebrities and bloggers attended the event.Who ever still felt the urge to grouse rejected the idea, after taking a look at the goodiebag, which was heavily filled (Pink Box, L’Oreal Haircare- products, Invisibobbles, myMuesli, Valmano jewelry, Essie, camera belt and, and, and …) The fact that German bloggers were now given their own category, was a real improvement in comparison to last year (Stylight earned a lot of critics back then). Stylight has recognized the signs of the times and knows how big the influence of bloggers is and what important role they play in the fashion industry nowadays. I am glad that this is also appreciated in Germany too, and think such award is just the right way to show it. So I’m looking forward to next year and the further development of this event.
